The nose is frutiy and offers a small concentration/intensity. It reveals notes of quite ripe blackberry, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small crushed wild red fruits as well as hints of tobacco and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a small freshness, minerality, tension as well as fat, juiciness and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, wild blackberryand small notes of violet associated with touches of ripe wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of ripe wild strawberry, crushed raspberry as well as hints of tobacco, nutmeg, spices and a discreet hint of clove (in the background). Good length. Tannins are finely firm.
