Château La Fleur de Gay – Cuvée prestige 2019 – Pomerol

The nose offers intensity and a finely tight concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small black fruits, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small ripe blue fruit as well as hints of cuben pepper, mild tobacco and very discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness as well as a good definition, gourmandize and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy cassis,small notes of small black berries associated with touches of liquorice, dark chocolate as well as subtle hints of mocha and camphor. Good length. A persistence on notes of cocoa.
