Château La Fleur de Boüard 2018 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fresh, fruity, concentrated and offers richness (but full of balance). It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe boysenberry and small notes of raspberry / juicy raspberry combined with hints of violets, ripe/juicy blueberries, fine hints of cornflowers, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of liquorice, toasted and toasted almonds. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, gourmandise, a mineral frame, tension, a fine suavity, roundness, a fine creaminess as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, juicy / fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry associated with touches of licorice, dark chocolate, toasted as well as discreet hints of blueberry and ripe almond. A beautiful, delicate, fine, tense and rich (but all in balance !!) wine.
