The nose is more floral and fresh than on the 2011 vintage. It reveals notes of fruit (blackberry, plum, strawberry) associated with some toasted/woody notes and vanilla. The palate is fresh, mineral, gourmand, typical, pure, deep and reveals a beautiful finesse and a good precision. In the mouth it expresses notes of blueberry and cherry associated with a touch of blackberry, flowers and slight notes of licorice. Beautiful minerality and nice matter. There is a very small touch of salinity on the finish. The tannins are elegant, fine, ripe and slightly chewy. A beautiful mineral, fruity and fresh wine!
