The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of spices, cassis, nutmeg, and notes of cloves associated with touches of small red fruits and a discreet hint of balsamic. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, an easy to access side and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy blackberry, juicy/ pulpy raspberry and small notes of flowers associated with touches of juicy/ pulpy berries as well as hints of fresh tobacco as well as a subtle hint of cloves. Racy and frank tannins. Good length with a subtle hint of chocolate (in the background) with a fine sapid finish.
