Château la Fleur Chantecaille 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is spicy and offers breadth, spices and a certain power. The wine would benefit from being decanted. It reveals notes of black cherry, camphor and small notes of clove associated with touches of roasted red berries as well as fine hints of Cubeb pepper and smoke. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, some tension, an acidulous frame and a finely tight tannic structure. It expresses notes of black cherry, purple plum and small notes of roasted-juicy red berries associated with touches of clove, camphor, fine hints of pepper and a dusty hint and toasted oak. Fine chewiness on the finish / some firmness of Tannins.
