The nose is racy with a hint of spice. There are notes of boysenberry, toast and a hint of sweet spice combined with hints of pulpy boysenberry, red berries and a hint of liquorice and sweet spice. The palate is juicy and offers freshness, acidity, good definition, juiciness of the fruit and a certain brightness. On the palate this wine expresses bright cherry, raspberry and more lightly juicy/pulpy blackcurrant notes combined with hints of violet, fresh liquorice as well as hints of sweet spice and cola. A subtle hint of vanilla on the finish/persistence.
