Château La Devine 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is floral, very discreetly tight and offers a little power as well as a fine texture. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, gray pepper and hint of violet associated with touches of toast, licorice, graphite, cornflower as well as fine hints of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, freshness, a juicy / fresh frame, a fine tension as well as a delicate fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy cassis and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of lily, violet, graphite, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of small juicy red fruits as well as a hint of toast / caramelized flavor and a very delicate touch of nice cocoa bitterness. Presence of a subtle chewiness as well as a certain gourmandize on the finish.
