The nose is fruity, racy, fresh and offers a certain brightness as well as depth. It reveals notes of dense wild cassis, small pulpy/dense black fruits and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of sweet spices, fine hints of zan as well as a discreet hint almost aromatic herbs (in the background) and toasted. The palate is nicely fruity, mineral and offers freshness, tension, accuracy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of graphite, camphor associated with touches of small fairly ripe red fruits as well as hints of cornflower, aromatic herbs and a hint of tobacco. The tannins are soft and greedy. Good length. A cocoa side on the finish/persistence. Good aromatic persistence with a subtle hint of good bitterness.
