The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved at first and requires aeration. It then expresses fruity notes (red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, black plum, blackberry), associated with a floral touch (fresh rose, cornflower), a fine spicy side (white pepper, clove, liquorice, a hint of vanilla), herbaceous (dried mint) and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is straight and precise, with fresh fruits on the attack (morello cherry, cherry, wild strawberry, red plum, black plum, blackberry), spicy and woody notes (liquorice, vanilla, cloves, toasted wood) and with an expressive note of chocolate on the finish. The tannins are fine, well-structured and sapid, balanced by a nice acidity. Good length in the mouth, with minty freshness and a gourmandise of mint chocolate and chocolate cherry. A pleasant, accessible wine, with a beautiful structure.
