Château La Croix St. Georges 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a small power and sense of the place. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, small blue fruits, wild strawberry associated with touches of cuben pepper, lilas, toasted and a very discreet hint of black pepper, tea and grilled. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity, an finely acidulous frame, gourmandize and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, small blue fruits, small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of cherry, blueberry, cornflower as well as subtle hints of rose, liquorice, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Good length. A very discreet hint of grilled on the persistence.
