Château La Croix Lartigue 2024 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is aromatic, with tangy fruits (blueberry, red cherry, morello cherry, red currant, raspberry, crushed blackcurrant), combined with a delicate herbaceous side (blackcurrant leaf in the background, peppermint), a fine sappy and spicy touch (licorice, nutmeg, vanilla in the background), a hint of peony and chocolate. The palate is tangy and fruity (it expresses the flavors of red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant), finely herbaceous (peppermint) and spicy (licorice, nutmeg, vanilla). Beautiful salivating acidity, the tannins are polished and well structured. A pleasant herbaceous side on the persistence.
