Château La Croix-Lartigue 2021 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fresh, fruity and reveals good definition and fine intensity. There are notes of raspberry, ripe red berries and a hint of balsamic, combined with hints of juicy blackcurrant, violets, pepper and graphite. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, silkiness, a certain gourmandize and a certain purity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed berries and more lightly cherry combined with a touch of blackberry, violet, peony as well as fine points of camphor/graphite and a discreet hint of tonka bean. The tannins are fine and mellow. Good work on the bitter taste.
