The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is tasty, and initially expresses a spicy and woody notes, which dissapear after aeration. We find notes of toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, smoke, coffee, cocoa, as well as a concentrated and juicy fruitiness – the aromas of blackberry, morello cherry, blueberry in the background, fresh strawberry and plum black pepper, dried mint, licorice and nutmeg. The mouth is velvety, silky and offers volume, all in elegance. It expresses notes of morello cherry, black plum, roasted red cherry, chocolate cherry, wild strawberry and blackcurrant in the background, combined with touches of liquorice, nutmeg, cocoa, dried mint, toasted notes. and coffee. The tannins are enveloping, structured and powdery, a little gripping in the finish, but with finesse and a chocolatey touch. The finish is sapid, chocolatey, with a nice acidity. Good persistence on the palate on the gourmand of chocolate cherry, refreshed by a touch of peppermint.
