Château La Croix 2022 – Fronsac

The nose is spicy, a little tight and offers some power. It expresses notes of wild blackberry, fresh pepper and more slightly – clove, associated with touches of lily and a fine, almost iodized hint. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, a little fat, a fine softness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly – small fleshy blue fruits, associated with touches of racy minerality, vanilla, toast and a hint of sweet blond tobacco. A little chewiness on the finish/persistence. Roundness and smoothness. Nice freshness.
