The nose is fruity and offers a pulpy finish. The wine deserves to be decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy blue plum and slight notes of graphite associated with touches of lily, pepper as well as fine hints of licorice stick and a very discreet almost balsamic hint. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, some freshness, acidity, gourmandise and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/tangy blackcurrant, pulpy small blue fruits and slight hints of bright raspberry associated with floral touches (lilac, peony), hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and a subtle hint of varietal (noble) and licorice stick. The tannins are supple and sapid.
