Château La Création 2020 – Pomerol

The nose is concentrated, juicy and aromatic. The wine offers aromas of ripe black fruit (blackcurrant, black plum, morello cherry), juicy red fruit (red cherry, crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis), fresh herbs (mint, thyme, black tea leaf, fresh bay leaf ) as well as delicate floral (violet, cornflower, lilac) and spicy (liquorice, cumin, white pepper) notes. On the palate, the wine is expressive and ripe. It offers juicy flavors of raspberry coulis, crushed strawberry, sour cherry, black plum, blackberry and crème de cassis, as well as savory notes of licorice stick, clove and white pepper, accompanied by the floral touches of violet and fresh iris. The tannins are young and astringent, with a hint of bitterness on the finish. The finish is persistent, tight and tannic. A wine tthat should open up its potential in several years.
