Château La Couspaude 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant, aromatic and offers a beautiful finesse of grain, a racy power (in finesse) as well as richness (well mastered). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, pulpy / juicy blueberry and small notes of crushed wild raspberry associated with small touches of black plum, camphor, cornflower, lily as well as hints of vanilla, walnut nutmeg, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint sage (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, precision, tension, finesse, a good definition, gourmandise, suavity, a small freshness as well as juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy cassis and small notes of juicy purple plum associated with hints of blueberry, lily, nutmeg as well as fine hints of fleshy strawberry as well as with a subtle hint of rose, liquorice stick, chocolate, very discreet hints of vanilla, spices and an imperceptible hint of toasted hazelnut.
