Château La Conseillante 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, deep, airy, intense, complex, a certain spiciness and offers a nice intensity and a beautiful finesse of the grain. Velvety. We perceive notes of bright wild blackberry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of pepper associated with touches of bright blackcurrant as well as discreet hints of tobacco, nutmeg and a floral hint (in the background). The palate is beautifully built, fruity, fresh, supple, tangy, nicely chiseled, harmonious, melodious and offers an electric side, a beautiful intensity, purity, a superb texture as well as a beautiful energy. Mellowness and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, bright blueberry and small notes of morello cherry associated with touches of crushed blackcurrant, fine floral touches (cornflower, lilac), sap as well as hints of chocolate, toast and toasted hazelnut. A lovely chewiness on the finish. A hint of chocolate and a very discreet touch of fresh roasting in the background. The wine reveals a superb freshness combined to a sunny aspect of the fruit. This wine combining power, delicacy and elegance.
