Château La Conseillante 2022 – Pomerol

Lovely elegant, delicate nose which offers richness in delicacy, harmony, brightness, fullness as well as a nice width / a nice multi-layered side. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, bright/pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with hints of fresh pepper, delicate hints of small creamy blue fruits and a very discreet hint, almost aromatic herbs. The palate is nicely fresh, elegant, balanced, sapid and offers a tangy structure, some mellowness, tension, a very nice finesse, a multi-layered side, harmony, energy as well as an airiness in his wealth and in his power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright cherry, pulpy/bright blueberry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of nutmeg, toasted, small bright red berries, toasted hazelnut, lily as well as delicate hints almost Ceylon tea, graphite and a subtle hint of vanilla. The tannins are soft and elegant. Good length. Beautiful and savory persistence. Superb freshness! Nice work and impact of press wines.
