Château La Confession 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is powerful, aromatic and offers a fine grain, concentration as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of cassis, griotte, small notes of small wild blue fruits associated with touches of liquorice, fresh mild tobacco as well as hints of black pepper, cardamom, black tea and discreet hints of vanilla pod. The palate offers power, a good definition, concentration as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, black blackberry, samll notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry, small blue fruits, black tea as well as hints of of vanilla. Tannins are finely tight and marked. A very discreet hint of caramelization on the finish/persistence.
