The nose is fresh and offers fine concentration, power and some depth. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, pulpy / juicy wild blackcurrant and more slightly crushed strawberry associated with touches of fairly ripe small red berries as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, spices and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers unctuosity, freshness, juiciness, racy minerality, fat as well as good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackcurrant, pulpy cherry and more slightly of small red berries associated with a touch of cornflowers, racy minerality, fine hints of pepper, licorice as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and caramelization.
