The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers freshness, a fine blackness as well as a certain power. It reveals notes of graphite, ripe strawberry and more slightly blackberry associated with touches of bright blue fruits as well as a hint of truffle and cloves. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, roundness, fat, a racy minerality (marked by clays!) As well as a fine tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly crushed small blue fruits associated with a touch of dried raspberry as well as hints of clove, tobacco and a subtle hint of undergrowth. Tannins are fine and powdery. Suavity on the finish.
