The nose is fresh, with a certain power in finesse, a nice finesse of grain, aromatics as well as clarity. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly of fleshy black berries combined with a touch of blue berries and hints of caramelisation and toasted hazelnut with sweet spice. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly fresh/juicy black berry notes combined with hints of lily, blueberry as well as fine cardamom, tonka bean, fine clove and vanilla.
