The nose is spicy and offers some intensity and a slightly tight grain. There are notes of fresh boysenberry, clove and slightly fresh violet combined with hints of fairly ripe strawberry, crushed blackcurrant and fine vanilla notes. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, acidity and a certain energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crushed blackcurrant and more slightly dried violet combined with hints of black berries, clove, cardamom and a subtle hint of lilac and spice. Nice freshness!
