The nose is finely powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassos and fine notes of wood, licorice associated with an imperceptible hint of spices, a very discreet hint of red fruits (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, finely powerful and offers a nice mineral frame, a nice definition, precision, an aerial side as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, black cherry and slight notes of blueberry combined with a hint of fleshy strawberry as well as touches of licorice, toasted wood and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Tannins are well-built.
