The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals a nice purity in its intensity. There are notes of pulpy ripe blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly of bright/fresh dark berries combined with fine touches of violet, herbal tea/black tea and a discreet hint of toastiness/liquorice. The palate is fresh, discreetly tight and reveals minerality, good definition, juiciness, acidity and some blackness/infusion in the background. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy, fresh blackcurrant, ripe, fresh wild berries and more lightly fresh, juicy red berries combined with hints of zan, mocha as well as fine spice, black tea and a hint of toastiness. Fine sapidity and chewiness on the finish. The tannins are well-managed and finely mellow.
