The nose is delicate, textured and concentrated: a roasted and spicy touch is quite intense, but integrated (toasted hazelnut, coffee, liquorice, touch of vanilla and tonka bean) in the juicy fruits (wild strawberry, raspberry, morello cherry, blueberry, a hint of blackcurrant). There is also a delicate herbaceous touch (wild mint, blackcurrant bud) and peony. The palate is juicy, tangy, but the fruitiness opens more in the middle of the palate (wild strawberry, raspberry, morello cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant). The herbaceous notes are more pronounced (blackcurrant leaf), but fresh and not green. The finish is quite long, with a salivating acidity and the flavor of red cherry on the persistence. The tannins are fine but present.
