The nose is reserved and closed. After aeration, it expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, black plum and red plum, a woody touch (fresh hazelnut, toasted wood in the background), a hint of dried mint and cornflower. The palate is more expressive, with tangy fruits, even a bit tannic. We find in particular the flavors of bird cherry, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant and tart red cherry, associated with notes of liquorice, dried mint and cornflower in the background. The tannins are gripping, dry on the finish. Good level of acidity.
