Château La Cabanne 2024 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, gourmand, pulpy and offers substance. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of small wild berries, associated with touches of maceron, small wild red fruits, as well as fine hints of racy minerality, infusion and delicate hints of sweet spices. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, it offers a fine pulpiness and a taut, precise tannic frame. It also presents a certain gourmandise, substance and mellowness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy violet plum and small notes of small fleshy/brilliant fruits, combined with a touch of fairly ripe raspberry, as well as fine hints of chocolate, toast and vanilla. Lovely mellowness and sapidity of tannins.
