The nose is elegant, sunny with controlled power. We perceive a nice fine grain, powerful and delicate at the same time which confers an airy character. We have notes of boysenberry, quite ripe blue berries and slight hints of vanilla associated with touches of cardamom, roasted strawberries as well as delicate hints of incense and toasted almonds as well as toasted hazelnuts. The mouth is fruity with minerality and some fattiness which brings roundness and a certain gourmandise. It is a wine full of lightness and control with tension, accuracy, good energy and very discreetly tight density. We find the notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, bright purple plum and slightly acidulous pulpy blackcurrant associated with touches of cornflower, lilies as well as hints of small acidulous red berries quite ripe as well as notes of vanilla, cardamom, mocha and fine toasted hints. It is a wine with sapidity and a little softness on a persistent finish. Gourmand, sunny but all in balance with a certain acidity, we perceive fine notes of graphite in a fresh finish.
