Château La Cabanne 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is concentrated and offers freshness as well as richness. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy/fresh blue fruits and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers concentration/richness, freshness, tension as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/ripe strawberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy blue fruits associated with small touches of tonka bean/chocolate, vanilla as well as discreet hints of cardamom (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
