The nose offers minerality, fruitiness and a fine spicy quality. There are notes of crushed raspberry, grey pepper and, to a lesser extent, clove, combined with hints of pulpy berries, a fine touch of tobacco and a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fresh, fruity, balanced and reveals a mineral backbone, good definition, gourmandize, smoothness and a tangy texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and, more slightly, blueberry, combined with touches of bright blue berries, blackberry/blackberry, as well as subtle hints of vanilla and sweet blond tobacco. Good length. Good tannins. Positive bitterness on the finish/persistence.
