The nose offers some power, fine intensity and fleshiness. There are notes of fleshy strawberry, violet and more slightly blueberry combined with hints of fleshy/juicy red berries of blackcurrant as well as fine hints of cocoa, graphite/incense and a very discreet touch of fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, suavity, an acidic backbone, minerality, a certain racy power and concentration. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, dark berries and slightly violet, combined with hints of camphor, blueberry, fleshy/juicy cherry, fine hints of iris, toast, cocoa and a subtle touch of black pepper and smoke.
