The nose is fruity and offers vibrancy as well as pulpiness. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, crunchy Morello cherry and slightly crushed blueberry combined with a touch of liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, smoothness, pulpiness and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and slightly crunchy plum notes with hints of creamy raspberry, liquorice, vanilla and a subtle touch of nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are precise and well-conducted. Good work on the bitter taste (in the background).
