Château La Bridane 2017 – Saint-Julien

The nose is aromatic and offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed blackberry and small touches of redcurrant, blueberry associated with subtle touches of small berries as well as fine touches of spices, flowers and pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine unctuosity, a small tension, a fine straightness as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cocoa, crushed raspberry and fresh red fruits associated with subtle hints of toasted oak, rosted oak, cocoa bitterness (in the background) as well as discreet touches of mild tobacco. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length.
