The nose is discreet, requires aeration, but remains generally closed. We find notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, plum, a slight woody hint in the background and notes of sweet spices (liquorice, a hint of nutmeg). The palate is also closed in attack, but the mid and finish are juicy and fruity. We find in particular the flavors of morello cherry, wild strawberry, and the tanginess of red cherry. A light and airy wine.
