The nose is elegant and offers concentration as well as a nice texture and a certain elegant darkness. There are notes of concentrated cassis, concentrated wild red berries and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of salinity / iodine as well as fine hints of liquorice stick and tobacco. The palate is nicely built, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, acidulous cherry and small notes of acidulous raspberry associated with touches of bright red berries as well as hints of violet, iris, star anise and fine hints of nutmeg. Tannins are sapid and iodized. Good length. Beautiful freshness. Subtle hint of tobacco in the background.
