Château La Branne 2022 – Médoc

The nose is elegantly fruity and offers a certain concentration and some controlled richness. It expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, pulpy blackberry and more slightly – small bright red berries associated with touches of violet, licorice as well as fine hints of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, a certain juiciness, a mineral frame, tension and a fine straightness. The wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, small fresh red berries and more slightly – violet/lilac associated with touches of racy minerality, cardamom as well as a discreet hint of coffee in the background. A lovely freshness and a slight hint of torrefaction.
