Château la Brande 2024 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

A beautiful concentration, juiciness and complexity on the nose. We find notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, red cherry, morello cherry, tangy strawberry, a fine woody side, gourmand, chocolatey and finely toasted (toasted hazelnut, coffee, cocoa nibs), as well as aromas of fresh flowers (violet, fresh rose), peppermint, delicate sweet spices (licorice, nutmeg). The palate is precise, juicy, with notes of tangy fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry), a hint of roasting (toasted hazelnut, coffee), sweet spices (licorice, nutmeg) and chocolate. Good length with plenty of freshness and salivating acidity. The fine tannins are finely powdered, cocoa-flavored and chalky.
