The nose is spicy, peppery and offers a nice fine grain, elegant and precise. It reveals notes of blackberry, Cubeb pepper/gray pepper and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of pulpy cherry as well as hints of liquorice stick as well as a hint of blond tobacco and a subtle almost thyme/infusion hint. The palate is nicely elegant, creamy, juicy, with energy and a certain bite. We have notes of creamy blackcurrant, small black berries and small notes of violets associated with touches of creamy raspberries as well as hints of violet, black tea, infusion as well as a hint of thyme and dark chocolate. There is good length with mellow and elegant tannins with a certain sapidity in the background thanks to freshness and minerality.
