The nose is fruity and aromatic. It reveals slight notes of fresh/ripe blueberry, fresh/ripe cassis and fresh/ripe wild strawberry associated with hints of flowers (lilac, violet) as well as slight touches of licorice, spices, and a very discreet/imperceptible toasted hint. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, fat, tension, suavity, a beautiful freshness, gourmandise as well as a nice fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh/ripe blueberry and slight notes of griotte associated with slight hints of fresh/ripe strawberry, a discreet hint of licorice, toasted oak as well as a very discret hint of chocolate oak (on the finish) and a subtle hint a Sichuan pepper. Tannins are fine and well-built. Nice juiciness and gourmandise (2018/2019+)
