The nose is fruity, aromatic as well as relatively powerful and fine. It reveals notes of blackberry, crème de cassis and chocolate combined with a few discreet oaky notes. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively gourmande and offers minerality and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black fruit (blackberry, black cherry, cassis) and touches of red fruits, red berries associated with fine notes of chocolate, liquorice as well as a discreet note of cassis bud, blueberry jam and coffee on persistence. Tannins are fine.
