The nose is fruity and offers a sexy side of fruit. There are notes of Morello cherry, blackberry and slightly crushed currants combined with hints of fleshy strawberry as well as fine zan and a subtle hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a fine fatness and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of fleshy cherry, hints of fresh flowers as well as fine points of zan, sweet blond tobacco and racy minerality. The tannins are well handled. Sapidity and chewiness on the finish.
