The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, blackberry and more slightly chocolate, toasted, raspberry associated with fine touches of caramelization, a subtle hint of gray pepper (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of mild tobacco, racy minerality (terroir). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, a good definition, a good structure, a small fullness as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and ripe/crushed red berries associated with touches of strawberry as well as discreet hints of racy minerality (terroir), cassis bud, chocolate, toasted oak, very discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco. Good length. Good and gourmand persistence.
