Château La Bastienne 2020, Montagne Saint-Emilion 

On the nose, aromatic and offers a little power, a fine texture as well as some intensity/concentration and a fine airy character. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, pepper and more lightly black berry combined with hints of pulpy raspberry, purple plum and fine cherry blossom, star anise and sweet spice. On the palate, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition and a little fat. The wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh plum and more lightly of small black berries combined with touches of bursting cherry, violet and fine hints of plum blossom, sweet blond tobacco and a discreet hint of chocolate. Good length.
