A lovely fruity nose, gourmand, precise, which offers a certain concentration, a lovely definition, power, finesse and silkiness, a fine intensity, depth. It expresses notes of violet, ripe blackcurrant, pulpy blackberry and more lightly – quite ripe raspberry, associated with touches of star anise, infusion, as well as fine hints of pepper and discreet hints almost nutmeg, toasted and has a fine hint of clove, an imperceptible hint almost Sichuan pepper. The palate is nicely juicy and offers a nice energy, a nice minerality, a tangy frame, accuracy, purity and brilliance, a nice fruity character. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more lightly – star anise associated with touches of bright cherry as well as fine hints of infusion, toast, tonka bean. Lovely softness and tasty, sapid mid-palate. A lovely tangy/juicy character of the fruit. Savory and tasty tannins. Lovely creamy, fresh, tangy and gourmet mouthfeel. Lovely freshness, almost a graphite side in the tannins.
