Château Jussas 2015 – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, relatively powerful and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of redcurrant, cherry and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of toasted oak, flowers as well as a slight hints of spices and a very discreet/impercetible hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a slight fat, minerality, tension, a slight gourmandise as well as a very slight silky. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of strawberry, redcurrant and slight notes of cassis associated with a subtle hint of bell pepper/cassis bud as well as a very discreet hint of toasted oak and a very discreet hint of crushed blueberry on the persistence. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
