CHÂTEAU JULIA 2024 – Pauillac

The nose is nicely fruity, gourmand, with a certain pulpiness, good definition and gourmandise. It reveals notes of pulpy raspberry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of cornflower, associated with a touch of graphite, a subtle hint of almost fresh sage and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, mineral and well-defined. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, bright redcurrant, and small notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, as well as hints of cherry blossom, star anise, and a very discreet touch of almost sappy and fresh sage in the background. Good length. The tannins are precise, mellow and gourmand. Suppleness, freshness and gourmandise. A wine with purity on the palate, lovely persistence and fine mellowness.
