The nose is fruity and offers concentration, a small power as well as a fine richness and density. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of pulpy blackberry associated with small touches of griotte cherry, violet, crushed redcurrant as well as hints of zan, black tea, toasted oak, a hint of vanilla and hazelnut. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, a small richness, a small fat, gourmandize as well as a certain density and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of small ripe berries, violet, griotte as well as hints of mocha, toasted/grilled oak, subtle hints of vanilla and nutmeg. Tannins are well-built and structuring.
